Where are my contacts stored?
On your device. The app keeps your address book in local storage on whatever you are using — your browser, phone or computer — which is why it opens instantly and keeps working offline. We hold no copy.
Can I import from Google, Apple or Outlook?
Yes. Export a vCard (.vcf) or CSV from any of them and import it here. We read the awkward parts properly: folded lines, escaped separators, multi-part names and the group prefixes Apple adds. Import the same file twice and duplicates are skipped rather than doubled.
Can I get my data back out?
Any time, in one click, as vCard or CSV. Both open in Apple Contacts, Google Contacts, Outlook, Excel and Numbers. There is no step where your data becomes hard to leave with.
Do my contacts sync between my phone and laptop?
Not yet. Each device keeps its own address book today, which is the direct consequence of storing contacts locally rather than on our servers. Syncing is what we are building next, and we will be explicit about what changes when it arrives.
What happens when the free trial ends?
Nothing is charged automatically. You get 7 days of full access without entering card details; after that you can subscribe for ₹999 a year to carry on. Your contacts remain on your device either way, and you can still export them.
How do I pay, and can I get a refund?
Payments are processed by Razorpay, which supports UPI, cards, net banking and wallets — we never see your card details. If you change your mind, ask within 7 days of payment for a full refund. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Do I need to install anything?
No. It runs in your browser with nothing to install. Native applications for iPhone, Android, macOS, Windows and Linux are built from the same codebase.
What do you do with my data?
Nothing. We do not sell it, we do not advertise against it, and this site loads no third-party scripts or fonts. Your account exists so your contacts belong to you rather than to whichever browser you happened to open. See how we handle data.
Is there a limit on how many contacts I can keep?
No. The plan includes unlimited contacts, tags and favourites.
Can I use it for my team?
Not yet — the plan covers one person. If you need several seats, write to us at hello@gullycontacts.com and tell us what you need; it genuinely helps us decide what to build next.
